Our made-in-France Holds, our production choices
Every Origin 96 hold is designed, shaped and manufactured in France, following a short
supply chain approach to stay as close as possible to climbers and their needs.
We have made a clear choice: to work exclusively with polyester (PE), the historic material of climbing holds. Proven for decades, this material offers strength, cost efficiency and a feel close to natural rock — while delivering one of the best environmental life-cycle balances in its category.
This choice is not about nostalgia; it’s about common sense — returning to what has always worked well.
Our team of shapers, led by Stéphane Dugit, former high-level athlete and national route setter, is committed to creating ergonomic, comfortable holds without unnecessary excess. Each shape is designed with movement pleasure, safety and longevity in mind.
Today, more than 1,000 references make up our catalog, all imagined and tested by climbers, for
climbers.
